Gothic: Dark Glamour

For those who are living in Manhattan, oh how I envy thee! Starting the 5th of September, the Fashion Institute of Technology is having an exhibition dedicated to gothic fashion....a first in the fashion world! The exhibition will feature pieces from McQueen, Galliano, Lacroix, Costa, Lagerfeld, Tischi and many more. Here are some pieces which will be exhibited :D

Gothic, Dark Glamour #2: Comme des Garçons

And for the second featuring designer for the upcoming Gothic, Dark Glamour fashion exhibition in New York...I present to all my lovely readers Comme des Garçons...
For those who know French, Comme des Garçons actually means "like boys". Headed by Rei Kawakubo, this label has over 200 boutiquesworldwide. I musk say I love her creations, especially the dresses. Funky!

Gothic, Dark Glamour #1: Boudicca

I just read some fashion news. In New York in September, there will be a gothic themed fashion exhibition. Some of the designers involved include Couture prodigies like Galliano, Gaultier and Alexander McQueen. Apart from that, the show will be showcasing stuff by Anna Sui, Yamamoto, Ann Demeulemeester, Boudicca and heaps more. I will be putting up photos of creations by these designers to give you all beautiful people a taste of what to expect :) Hope you'll enjoy them!
