Comme des Garcons RTW Spring 2010

What caught my attention in Rei Kawakubo's collection (apart from the odd hairdo) is the curious yet delightful mix of patterns, textures and colours on individual pieces. A few designers have been inspired by this delectable 'patchwork' style, giving the outfits a rather untidy funky look. Note how Kawakubo mixes leather with sheer or satin and how she artfully mixes different patterns. What I like most in this collection is the leather shoulder pads (almost like leather boleros), and my favourite of this collection would have to be the 4th picture.

Den här kollektion är en blandning av färger, tyg och mönster. Ganska många designer har antagit den här 'fläck-stil' för dess kollektion. Jag gillar det. Funkig! Kawakubo blandar läder med satäng eller genomskinliga tyg och blandar olika mönster också . Från den här kollektion gillar jag den läder axlar och min favorit är den fjärde bilden.

Hip Anna Sui
