Going to a Metal gig

My boyfriend's cousin, Dean Holmes, is in a metal band called Shambhala. Freaking awesome band! Do check out their music. Dean is the guitarist and singer in the band and his singing reminds me of System of a Down. Indeed, one of their influences are S.O.A.D.

Well anyways, me and my boyfriend didn't actually make it to the gig :( We missed the train into town where Shambala was playing. So, I was dressed up with nowhere to go :( But I thought that I would post up what I wore anyways :) Obviously my two favourite colours, black and red. The top is Now and the black inside top is South China Sea. I wore my black Supre pants and my awesome Red Pepper boots (which can't be seen in the photo). The necklace I bought from Target. I love the dark red top (ruffles!). I looks very elegant and my beloved corset belt adds the rock-edge to the outfit. Hope you like it! (Excuse the poor quality of photos...MacBook camera isn't that great :P )

Hopefully I make it to their gig next month in Maitland :)
